Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 facelift spied at dealership before launch

Competition heats up in the 150cc commuter segment, as Japanese automakers, Yamaha Motors gear up for launch of Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 today. The new Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 comes in ready to give some serious competition in the segment. Spied on test in Chennai earlier this month, the new FZ-S has arrived at dealerships. These are the first images before official launch in a few hours.

Ready and able to tackle competition in its path, the Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 facelift receives an aggressive stance, sharper headlights and various design cues on its body though front fender and fuel tank design remain the same.

Refreshments come in the form of new air intakes situated below the fuel tank and a new exhaust. Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 facelift also receives a new digital cluster, split seats instead of a single saddle and silver alloy grab bars. Yamaha FZ-S V2.0.

yamaha fzs facelift seatsIn the engine specifications, expect a slight bump in power to the the new Yamaha FZ-S from its four stroke, single cylinder air cooled engine. However fuel injection technology will add to performance and fuel efficiency.

Where pricing of the new Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 is concerned, one can expect a slight increase over the existing variant which is priced at about INR 75,000. More details in a few minutes as the bike is officially launched in Delhi. We are at the launch ceremony. Stay tuned.
