The sedan will be fitted with a 2.0 liter turbodiesel inline four engine which produces 160 hp and 265 lb/ft torque which is up 20 hp and 29 lb/ft as compared to the 2.0 liter engine in the Jetta TDI. The engine will be equipped with AdBlue urea emission control system which will ensure that the vehicle is compliant with present and future emission regulations. AdBlue urea system is used together with Selective Catalytic Reduction converter to help control oxides of nitrogen diesel emissions.
