2014 Fiat Linea sedan facelift for India spyshots
Fiat India has been testing the new generation Linea T-Jet ahead of a launch scheduled next year. Here’s a quick look at the new gen Fiat Linea spyshots.
The current Linea is not likley to be taken off the market but rather, the sedan would be badged differently. In India Fiat only operates in the B and C segment, and that is not likely to change anytime soon. Ongoing plans would see Linea remain a C-segment offering with the new model being offered in a higher price bracket.
The current 1.4-litre petrol engine and 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine are not likely to be revised. Fiat’s Line positioning should e akin to Ford Fiesta and Nissan Micar, ensuring variants co-exist in vried price brackets.
Just last week, Fiat India the limited edition Fiat Punto Sport 2013 wsa launched at a price Rs 7,60,048 (ex showroom Delhi). In due course of time Abarth Punto will be launched here, nad there’s no kidding ourselves because it will be consi8dered pricey.
