2014 Hyundai Elantra facelift unveiled in Korea as Avante
2014 Hyundai Elantra facelift was recently unveiled in South Korea, home country of the manufacturer. To be launched by October this year in Korea, new Elantra is expected to be launched in India next year. Seen in a fresh new design with advanced features, 2014 Elantra is also longer than the outgoing variant.
2014 Hyundai Elantra bears LED guide lights, projector headlamps and fog lamps and sits on 17” two tone alloy wheels. Interiors are comfortable with a front center arm rest, rear seat air vents and an efficient ventilation system for seats. Advanced features include Smart Parking Assist System and flex steer while Hyundai Motors Advanced Idle Stop and Go system is also being offered in the automatic diesel variant. It receives a 1.6 liter diesel engine with fuel economy at 5.4 l per 100 kms where the MT variant is concerned and 6.2l per 100 kms for the AT variant.
The facelifted Elantra is seen with an improved length of 4,550 mm, which is a good 20mm more than its previous model measures. Sitting on the same wheelbase, the new Elantra is seen with extended front and rear bumpers which have been increased by 5mm and 15mm respectively thus, giving the model a more balanced appeal.
