2015 Chevrolet Cruze spotted: Sales commence by 2014 end
Chevrolet Cruze is in for a makeover, even though the current model was given a midlife facelift in 2012 and introduced as a 2013 model subsequently. Chevrolet is currently working on a brand new design for its next generation Cruze and though completely under wraps, the vehicle has been spotted while on test in various locations.
For US, production will continue at the company plant in Lordstown, Ohio which has been noted for assembly of the current version. However the new Cruze will also be produced from General Motors’ plants in South Korea and Australia. No changes are expected where engine specifications of the 2015 Cruze is concerned. This means that the modifications to the 2015 Cruze will be purely cosmetic as the Cruze carries on with its 2.0 liter turbodiesel engine which has been currently added to the Cruze lineup. Though still in initial stages, the prototype on test suggests that the upcoming Cruze will possess a sharper design, a more aggressive green house and a sportier front end.
