It is this model that is most sought after by car collectors and dealers. The brand which has been associated with James Bond movies even had the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge drive in a Prince of Wales DB6 convertible after their wedding.
The 1991 Zagato is the only one of four Sanction II coupes. The DB4GT/0198 in question has a capacity of 153 miles per hour and has covered 5000 miles. Bonhams said that it was first in the possession of Tony Smith and was put up for auction by a German owner. It was bought by a telephone bidder for a price below the presale valuation of £1.2 million to £1.5 million.
