Audi A3 E-Tron with 66 kmpl heads to 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Audi stand at next month’s Geneva Motor Show will see the all new A3 E-Tron plug-in hybrid which delivers 66 kmpl mileage with 204 PS power and 350 Nm torque.

Audi A3 E-Tron delivers a topspeed of 138 mph (222 kmph) on hybrid mode and a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 7.6 seconds. On all electric mode, the A3 E-Tron delivers top speed of 81 mph (130 kmph) and a range of 31 miles (50 kms).

Power to the Audi A3 E-Tron is delivered by a 1.4L TFSI and a 75 kW electric motor via a newly designed six-speed e-S Tronic transmission. Audi A3 E-Tron will be available in three drive modes – electric drive, hybrid drive, or petrol drive. In the hybrid drive mode, Audi A3 E-Tron will deliver 188 mpg UK or 66.5 kmpl and emit just 35 g/km CO2. Audi A3 e-tron will be offered only in front wheel drive option. The 1.4L TFSI delivers 150 PS while the 75 kW e-motor delivers 102 PS. Their combined output is at 204 PS and 350 Nm.
