Audi A8 keeps score for 2014 World Cup
2014 World Cup sees Audi keep score. Every match has the automaker play scoreboard in charge using a giant LED Scoreboard using headlights of 28 Audi A8 sedans. The installation sits on the shores of Greenpoint, Brooklyn and is visible from afar including a flight overhead.
Audi’s LED Scoreboard comprises of 45 shipping containers gaining height of more than 40 feet. What looks like an LED scoreboard of digital clusters from a distance is in its entirety the handiwork of A8’s LED headlights.
Audi took charge of the scoreboard beginning with the USA win. Audi LED Scoreboard will be live through Monday, July 14th and is an unique avenue to bring world-class football to the US.
As US’ international soccer involvement grows, Audi continues to bring activations to enhance soccer experience for fans. Audi Football Summit this July will see Bayern Munich play Deportivo Guadalajara on July 31st at 8:00 PM EST at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The match will be broadcast on television and online.
