BMW 720i spotted on company website – removed instantly
Appearing and disappearing from BMW’s German website in double quick time was the entry level 720i version of BMW 7 Series. 720i version was seen for a short time on the company website.
BMW 720i, the new entrly level flagshup luxury sedan, might receive a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine which is also seen on board the 320i where it is capable of 184 HP, while on board the 320i EfficientDynamics edition, the same engine offers 170 HP.
Where pricing is concerned, the upcoming 720i could be compared with the cheapest 7 series in company lineup in Germany, the 730d which is priced from €74,200. This could mean that once launched the BMW 720i could be priced at around €70,000 (Rs 60 lakh).
The full sized BMW 7 series sedan is the most luxurious and largest in the company lineup. Available with turbo charged engines of 6, 8 and 12 cylinders, the model comes in with all wheel drive and extended wheelbase variants and receives features such as remote services, BMW Apps, real time traffic information and BMW Assist eCall and TeleServices.
