Daimler India Commercial Vehicles and MFTBC personnel changes wef 1st June 2014
The changes as decided by the Board of Management, Daimler AG, are as a formality still subject to approval by the Shareholdersâ€™ meeting and Board meeting in MFTBC.
Marc Llistosella Managing Director & CEO, DICV will become Head – Marketing, Sales & After-sales, Trucks Asia & DICV based at Tokyo, Japan, effective June 01, 2014. He continues to report to Dr. Albert Kirchmann, President & CEO of MFTBC and Head of Daimler Trucks Asia. He will lead all Marketing, Sales & After-sales related areas of Daimler Trucks Asia, including DICV & MFTBC, Japan while continuing to oversee DICVâ€™s Indian operations.
Mr. Llistosella has led DICV from a planning phase to making it an established name in the Indian CV market. He has also led development of product range under BharatBenz for India alongwith FUSO trucks for Asia and Africa markets.
Erich Nesselhauf, currently Vice-President – Supply Chain Management, DICV, will become Managing Director & CEO of DICV, effective June 01, 2014 and will be based in India. He has been working on the DICV Greenfield project since 2008 building its supplier base, attaining 85% localization of BharatBenz trucks when production began in 2012. Now he will be in-charge of the entire DICV operations in India, and will to report to Mr. Marc Llistosella.
Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss, currently MFTBC Senior Vice-President, Sales & After-sales, will become Head – Corporate Audit at Daimler AG, effective June 01, 2014 and will report to Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management Daimler AG. Heading Sales & After-sales at MFTBC his contribution to company operations has led to a big part of MFTBCâ€™s growth programme that targets global sales to more than 200,000 units by 2015 and extending FUSOâ€™s leadership in global markets, which at present are upward of 160.
