Ferrari Enzo successor revealed and its awesome

Ferrari Enzo succesor, which is codenamed F150 as of now, was unveiled today to a private group of Ferrari customers in Maranello. The information was tweeted by Gautam Singhania, Founder and Chairman, Supercar Club of India.

Gautam Singhania, was part of the recently concluded 2013 Parx Supercar Show in India, which saw participation of over 100 supercars. He is also the only drifting car champion India has.

The future Ferrari sports car will feature a hybrid engine, which will deliver a total output of approximately 900 bhp. Ferrari has designed the new F150 after the extensive tests performed on the FXX, a high performance race car. Ferrari designed FXX on the Enzo, and now, it is the FXX that has helped to built the Ferrari masterpiece, F150. Ferrari is expected to reveal the F150 hypercar at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March this year. Once launched, it will compete with the McLaren P1.

The Ferrari F150 features a specially constructed carbon fiber monocoque shell. At 70 kgs, it is 20% lighter than the one in Enzo. The Ferrari hypercar will do a 0-62 mph (100 kmph) in just 2.5 seconds, which is faster than the Bugatti Veyron. It will have a topspeed of 220 mph (352 kmph).
