Ford Driving Skills for Life in 2013

This is for the 10th year that Ford will be concentrating on imparting safe driving skills to new drivers. Ford Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) has been teaching thousands of new drivers across the globe importance of safe driving and continues with this practice as over 550,000 new drivers have been benefitted by these online and practical professional driving techniques

Last year, DSFL came to India with over 3000 new drivers in major cities being trained in a bid to reduce fatalities on the road and injuries which occur while new drivers take to the wheel. DSFL concentrates on offering new drivers in depth knowledge of driving skills and techniques which in turn boost confidence on the road. This in turn makes new drivers better, careful and more vigilant.

This program has been doing the rounds in Asia in countries like China, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Africa and the Philippines. In the past six years since its entry into Asia over 63,000 new drivers have been trained. The training includes special training for female drivers, besides advocating the importance of seat belts, child seats, no honking, etc.
