Ford India car sales increases by 19% for Nov 2013

Riding on the successful launch of their compact SUV EcoSport, Ford India once again posted a positive sales report. For the month of November 2013, the US car maker posted a staggering 33% growth in domestic sales, and a 19% growth in overall sales, including exports, which declined marginally.

Ford India sales for Nov 2013 stood at 12,050 units, against 10,091 units registered in Nov 2012. Exports for last month stood at 4,141 units while that in same month last year, it was at 4,211 units. Apart from increasing their sales, Ford is also working on adding their number of touchpoints, in an attempt to have 500 outlets by 2015. Currently they have 274 outlets covering 146 cities across India
