Hero MotoCorp launches new Glamour and Glamour FI
Keen to retain a top spot in the two wheeler market, Hero MotoCorp is updating its entire range of two wheelers. Targeting buyers who desire a bike for daily commuting needs and capable of tackling uneven terrain is why the company is brings in its new Hero Glamour, and Glamour FI.
Hero Glamour competes with TVS Phoenix, Suzuki Slingshot and Honda Shine in its segment. Both variants of Glamour are powered by a 4 stroke, single cylinder engine offering 124.7cc displacement and capable of 9 bhp at 7000 rpm and 10.35 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. Mileage stands at 60 kmpl in city conditions and 80 kmpl on the highway while fuel tank has a capacity of 13.6 liters. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is accomplished in 7.50 seconds while the Glamour has a top speed of 94 kmph.
2014 Hero Glamour stand 2005mm in length, height in 1070mm and 735mm in width while it has a ground clearance of 150mm. Saddle height is at 790mm while kerb weight is at 129 kgs. Notable changes on board the new Hero MotoCorp Glamour include new tinted visor, sleek cowl, body colored rear view mirrors and new crystal clear headlight. Seating has also been modified which now looks more comfortable for pillion rider as well.
