Honda teases a new concept for Beijing premier
Two new concepts that Honda will be debuting at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show will include a new car which looks like a Hyundai Veloster rival, and a concept version of next generation Spirior. Besides these two concepts, an all new Fit (also known as Jazz in Indaa) and new SUV are also slated to make their debut at the show.
The yet unnamed concept that Honda will showcase is seen with a sleek roofline. This concept is exclusively for the Chinese market which could make its way into markets in the next few years. The second concept is the next generation Spirior, which is a Chinese version of Acura TSX.
Also on display at the Beijing Auto Show will be the new Honda SUV again designed for the Chinese market. Honda has also released first teaser of a new concept that plans for debut at Beijing Auto Show which looks like a Hyundai Veloster rival. This concept coupe is sporty in appeal and again exclusive for China as it is a joint proposal with one of the company’s domestic partners – Guangqi Honda Automobile. No other details have been revealed while even its name has been kept a closely guarded secret.
The third generation Honda Fit to debut at Beijing Auto Show will be locally assembled at the Guangzhou Honda plant and will be offered in two engine choices, 1.3 liter and 1.5 liter engines mated to a 5 speed manual or automatic transmission.
