At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, true to their word, BMW has unveiled their ultra luxury Vision Future Luxury concept. Seen with Liquid Platinum Bronze exterior, the Vision Future Luxury is a four door coupe concept aimed at a growing class of ultra wealthy clients across the globe.
At the backdrop of New York International Auto Show, BMW i3 was announced as 2014 World Green Car. The car was part of an initial entry list of 14 new cars, shortlisted to 3. the other finalists were Audi A3 Sportback g-tron and Volkswagen XL1. “To have the BMW i3 named World Green Car of the Year is a great honor,” said Dr. Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW. “From the production process onwards, the BMW i3 is a truly sustainable vehicle, created with the needs of the 21st century city in mind.”

German car maker, BMW AG is recalling around half a million vehicles worldwide due to engine fastener defect. The fault first surfaced in China, where 232,000 vehicles were recalled over the past month and now 156,137 vehicles in the US are also being recalled for the same.
World’s largest luxury car manufacturer has posted record sales of 186,126 units for the month of March 2014, which is enough to keep them ahead of rivals Audi and Mercedes Benz who managed to register 170,450 and 158,523 units respectively. For March 2014, BMW registered a growth of 16.9%, Audi registered a growth of 15.4% and Mercedes Benz registered growth of 13.3%.
With 2014 marking the arrival of Year of the Horse, BMW has found a better way to commemorate the occasion by presenting a 7 Series Horse Edition at 13th Beijing International Auto Show being held from 21st to 29th April 2014. This special edition called 7 Series Horse Edition is based on the long wheelbase 7 Series and comes in with xDrive all wheel drive as standard.
