Hyundai Grand i10, the latest hatchback from the stables of Hyundai Motor India Limited has drawn customers to its fold as bees to honey. The company has registered sales of over 33,000 units in the past three months, since it’s launch in September 2013. This has caused the model to enter the esteemed list of top 5 best selling cars in the country.
2015 Hyundai Genesis has been revealed officially. To be launched globally, the second generation Genesis sedan will come with three engine options, 3.8 liter V6 in tunes of 311 hp and 419 hp, and a 5.0 liter V8 engine with 425 hp mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Grand i10 has become the best selling Hyundai car in India ever since it was launched in September 2013. First launched with just a manual option, Hyundai India introduced a petrol automatic version earlier this month.
Early 2014 will see two major launches from Hyundai Motors. Both to break cover in the US, the two cars are 2015 Genesis sedan and India bound 2015 Sonata sedan. The former will premiere at the 2013 North American International Motor Show in Detroit, while the latter will surface at 2014 New York Auto Show.
The new and exclusively for China, Hyundai Mistra sedan was shown as concept earlier this year at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. Now, Hyundai is ready with the production ready variant of this China exclusive model, before it makes it’s debut at the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show.
While Hyundai has just released the petrol variant of the Grand i10 Automatic a couple of days ago, they are planning to launch the Grand i10 diesel Automatic Variant on December 5, 2013. This will make the Grand i10 as the only diesel powered automatic hatchback in the sub INR 10 lakh category.

Hyundai Grand i10 Automatic variant has been launched in India. It is available in two trim levels Asta and Sportz. While Sportz Automatic version is priced at INR 5.64 lakh, the Asta variant is priced at approximately 5.92 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi).
Hyundai announced a new factory crate engine program at the 2013 SEMA Show. Lambda 3.8-litre direct-injected V6 and Theta 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engines will be offered to aftermarket tuners. The new engine program is cost effective and will be available in December 2013.
