Make a wish India grants Nikhil’s last wish to be driven in a BMW
It was an afternoon that made 9 year old Nikhil Avchar, who unfortunately is terminally ill (currently at his last stage) a very happy little boy courtesy of Bavaria Motors Pune, which organised the magical ride in a BMW for the youngster a reality. The dealership that came into being on 15th June 2011 was overjoyed in being able to gift this experience to Nikhil.
Celebrations involved cutting a chocolate cake, posing with merchandise, watching audio visuals, receiving a gift hamper, scale model BMW’s for both siblings, a box of Ferrero Rocher’s, BMW merchandise, wearing a BMW cap in great style, a chauffeur driven BMW drive, and posing for plenty of photographs. His last wish was to be driven in a BMW. Bavaria Motors came to the forefront to organise this Joy Ride for Nikhil and made the BMW brand experience magical for him.
Nikhil was introduced to the company by Ritu Chabbria, President for the Pune Division of “Make my wish – India”. The foundation is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children between the ages of 3 and 18 years, living with life-threatening illnesses, irrespective of their socio-economic status, caste, race or religion. Bavaria Motors Pune has also served as a platform to launch the new BMW X3 in August 2011, and new BMW Z4 last month.
