The event saw staff and personnel that had gathered at the showroom cheer him on every step of the way. The little chap was accompanied by his sister, and was seen enjoying a feel of the pen sunroof of a 7 series. Must have been quite a field day with Nikhil enjoying a seat in a number of their cars. On a few occasions he was snapped up in the driving seat getting a feel of the steering wheel. In the passenger seat he was seen grinning and taking a look at a a few features.
Celebrations involved cutting a chocolate cake, posing with merchandise, watching audio visuals, receiving a gift hamper, scale model BMW’s for both siblings, a box of Ferrero Rocher’s, BMW merchandise, wearing a BMW cap in great style, a chauffeur driven BMW drive, and posing for plenty of photographs. His last wish was to be driven in a BMW. Bavaria Motors came to the forefront to organise this Joy Ride for Nikhil and made the BMW brand experience magical for him.
Nikhil was introduced to the company by Ritu Chabbria, President for the Pune Division of “Make my wish – India”. The foundation is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children between the ages of 3 and 18 years, living with life-threatening illnesses, irrespective of their socio-economic status, caste, race or religion. Bavaria Motors Pune has also served as a platform to launch the new BMW X3 in August 2011, and new BMW Z4 last month.
