Nissan Navara D23 interiors leaked, global debut next week
Nissan Navara D23 pickup scheduled to be globally unveiled next week was caught off guard recently. First set of images that started spreading over internet revealed exteriors, front and rear. New spy shots show interiors of Navara, ahead of official disclose planned in Thailand.
Interior design shows usual traits of Nissan, delightfully, gives passenger car feel to 2015 Navara pickup. Unlike older version having formal and flat looking designs of centre console, steering wheel, and the like, new Navara has stylish interior trims with curvy and trendy accents. Dashboard, centre console and steering wheel theme looks inspired by Nissan Teana.
Push start button and air conditioner controls look similar to those of Nissan Sylphy. Colour display between speedo and tachometer in instrument console is also a noticeable change from older Navara, and vertically oriented AC vents are now made horizontal in the centre and round on the sides of dashboard.
Exterior of 2015 Nissan Navara has some prominent changes with plenty of chrome on front fascia. Redesigned front grille has widened vertical slats and ladder like horizontal rails across the span of the grille. Headlamps in new pickup get LED positioning lights, and new LED DRLs on chrome surrounds enhance the fog lamp fitments. Bigger tail lamps distinguish 2015 Navara from older one.
More than Navara pickup, we are keen to know more about Nissan’s new SUV for India, that will be based on this Navara. Contenders like Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton and Ford Endeavour would be thrilled to meet a new Nissan in the ring, as the company is globally well received in this category.
