Olympians row the Nissan Note hatchback #NoteBoat
Nissan media event at Eton Dorney Lake in England saw Note Boat come to life with 3 Olympic rowers taking charge. Note Boat was specially adapted so it could be rowed at the 2012 Olympic venue.
Note’s Around View Monitor 360-degree parking system and Safety Shield technology features 4 cameras. 1 in front, 1 at the rear, and 1 under each door mirror for a helicopter-style, top-down view so it wasn’t difficult on the lake route.
Note Boat (like the Note road car) uses its rear view camera to give Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Moving Object Detection to allow the rowers to see where they are going without looking behind them – and also stay in their lane. European deliveries began on 1st October, and about 3,860 cars have been ordered.
