Renault Group employees elect new reps to Board of Directors

During the period October 5th to 11th 2012 Renault Group employees in France got a chance to elect three new directors who will represent them on the Board of Directors. An outstanding feature is that all three employee elected directors will have same rights and duties as shareholder elected directors and will participate in all decision making and voting as others on the board.

These three employee elected directors are Eric Personne, Mariette Rih and Richard Gentil who will take the place of outgoing directors – Alain Champigneux, Patrick Biau and Yves Audvard. Their four-year terms begin on November 8, 2012.

The Board of Directors will be responsible for direction of activities and its proper implementation, taking decisions on policy matters and overseeing of company management. They will also be instrumental in drawing up of company yearly and half yearly financial statements and other company reports that emerge from time to time while also setting remunerations of corporate officers.
