Spy Shots: Maruti Suzuki RIII – Ertiga mini MPV

Once again Maruti Suzuki have been spotted testing their yet to be launched RIII which was christened as Ertiga earlier this month. The black car in the image above is the spy shot of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga mini MPV.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to officially unveil Ertiga MUV in India during the 2012 Auto Expo scheduled to kick off in Jan 2012 in the capital. Reports suggest Maruti Suzuki will launch the car in India by June 2012 and it will carry a price tag somewhere between Rs 6 lacs to Rs 9 lacs.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be marketed as a family car and will have a capacity to accommodate a minimum of 6 adults, thanks to 3 row seating. The interiors of Ertiga MPV are expected to be quite similar to Swift Dzire’s.

Other features include, roof mounted AC vents, powerful 1.4L petrol K14 series engine that can generate a maximum of 95 bhp. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is also expected to be launched in diesel powered engine choice. The diesel Ertiga will be powered by a 1.3L mill generating 89 bhp.
