Toyota University Cricket Championship Ab Hamari Baari Hai anthem

Official song for the Toyota University Cricket Championship has been released by Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. LTD. The event was attended by many many known names including Harsha Bogle, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Prannoy Roy, Prasoon Joshi and musical trio comprising Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The anthem has been penned by Prasoon Joshi and has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan.

Titled ‘Ab Hamari Baari Hai’ the anthem blends notes of music and cricketing spirit into one exalting youngsters to showcase their charisma and stand with their heads held high no matter the situation. Teams who will be participating were also revealed. They include Northern Stars, Northern Stallions, Eastern Tigers, Eastern Eagles, Western Wolves, Western Wizards, Southern Sharks and Southern Champs. These eight teams were selected after league matches played by 120 teams all over the country.

Selected teams will have the opportunity to undergo training with likes of Robin Singh and Venkatesh Prasad. Wasim Akram will be the brand ambassador for the event that starts from 23rd February 2013 onwards.
