Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team and TAG Heuer extended partnership at 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Continuing to supply official timepiece for Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team. The agreement will be further extended to McLaren Automotive performance sports car manufacturers which include 12C and McLaren P1.

Ron Dennis, Sergio Perez and Jean-Christophe Babin Mclaren GenevaAt the Geneva Motor Show a new partnership agreement between TAG HEUER and McLaren has been announced. This partnership promises to be stronger than ever before with the watchmakers continuing to supply official timepiece for Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team. The agreement will be further extended to McLaren Automotive performance sports car manufacturers which include 12C and McLaren P1.

The agreement also ensures support of TAG Heuer to McLaren Young Driver Development Program which identifies and supports young drivers. Tag Heuer/McLaren agreement will have two brand ambassadors in the form of Sergio Perez and F1 world champion Jensen Button. The union of TAG Heuer and McLaren also celebrates 50 years of McLaren and 50th anniversary of the Carrera timepiece with TAG Heuer logo appearing on the rear end spoiler of all McLaren vehicles while it will also be sported on driver suits and other team apparel.

TAG Heuer and McLaren association goes back 28 years which has taken the company through 140 victories, 134 pole positions and 373 podium finishes besides 9 world champions. TAG Heuer is noted for being the first watch brand to develop dashboard chronograph for sports cars, keeping time with 1/10th, 1/100th, 1/1,000th and 1/10,000th of a second.
