2014 Range Rover Evoque with 9 speed auto launched in MalaysiaLaunched in India back in February for a price of Rs 55 lakhs, the new 2014 Range Rover Evoque and Evoque Coupe have now been launched in Malaysia by Land Rover Malaysia Sdn Bhd. What is causing all the excitement is that the sequential shifting is going out with the old Evoque, while in with the new, is a ZF nine speed automatic transmission which gives the new Evoque three additional gear ratios along with a new gearbox. This ensures better driving and enhanced fuel efficiency.

2014 Range Rover Evoque also gets an all wheel drive system with Torque Vectoring by Braking feature sending torque to all four wheels to thwart under steer. Perpendicular Parking, Exit Parking and Parallel Parking assist are also added features which work together to inform driver on a suitable parking space and if this space is sufficient to occupy the vehicle. Self parking with Surround Camera is a plus point on board the 2015 Evoque with driver only having to deal with braking and acceleration.

To be offered in 5 door and 3 door formats, the new Evoque receives two powertrain options which includes a 2.0 liter petrol and 2.2 liter diesel, while the Coupe (three door) only gets a petrol mill. 2014 Range Rover Evoque 5 door will be priced from RM399,888 (INR 74,10,921) while the 3 door Coupe will be priced from RM419,888 (INR 77,81,571). Both models will come in with a 5 year or 300,000 km warranty besides 5 year or 80,000 km free maintenance package.
