2015 Mercedes C Class launch price $38,400 (Rs 24 lakhs) in the US

As Mercedes Benz gears up for launch of new 2015 C Class in US, the company has disclosed pricing of this entry level executive class sedan. To be out in showrooms by August 25, 2015, the new C Class from Mercedes Benz will be launched in two variants C300 and C400.

2015 Mercedes Benz C Class launch price (1)The base price of Mercedes Benz C Class C300 model will start at $38,400 (Rs 23.61 lakhs) exclusive of taxes and delivery cost. This variant will be on offer from Q1 2015. The one which will be on offer currently, is the C300 4MATIC, priced at $40,400. Both receive a 2.0 liter turbocharged direct fuel injection, four cylinder engine capable of 241 hp peak power and 273 lb/ft peak torque while being mated to a 7 speed gearbox.

Mercedes Benz C400 variant will also be on offer with 4MATIC system. It will receive a 3.0 liter biturbo V6 engine capable of 329 hp peak power and 354 lb/ft torque mated to a 7 speed automatic gearbox. The C400 prices are slated to commence at $48,590 (Rs 29.88 lakhs) excluding taxes and delivery charge.

2015 Mercedes Benz C Class launch price (2)2015 Mercedes Benz C Class will feature AIRMATIC suspension system, which are better than the regular suspensins. It will also boast of COMAND touchscreen infotainment system start/stop button, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, power folding side mirrors, leather upholstery, seven inch display, and much more.

Rivals to C Class includes BMW 3 Series and Audi A4, respectively priced at a starting price of $37,400 and $35,500. Expected launch of 2015 Mercedes Benz C Class in India is in first half of 2015.
