A new spy shot of the Pulsar has emerged online, and this time it is seen in a camouflage state. Caught testing in the treacherous Himalayan terrain, it seems like Bajaj is testing the endurance of the new Pulsar. The spy shot above was captured by Mohit Agarwal, a sales manager at Indian Motorcycles. He says that the Pulsar 400 SS was spotted near Rohtang Pass near Manali.
The 400 SS is not the only bike Bajaj is testing. They are also testing the 200 SS, 200 NS FI, 180 NS, 150 NS and a new variant of Discover with fairing. If you look at the image closely, you will see two more Pulsar motorcycles following the 400 SS, one of them is the 200 NS FI.
This is not the first time a range of under-test Pulsar motorcycles have been spied together. Back in January this year, Rush Lane reader managed to spy a total of 5 new Pulsar motorcycles together on test, as you can see in the image below. These were the 200 NS FI, 200 SS, 400 SS, 150 NS and 180 NS. Considering the new spy shot from Manali, it seems like Bajaj has taken their entire range of on-test motorcycles to the Himalayas.
Pulsar is a very important brand name for Bajaj Auto. It is on this nameplate, Bajaj plans to change the superbike segment in India by pricing them aggressively, which no other manufacturer has been able to achieve.
Bajaj is yet to reveal anything official on the launch date of new Pulsar, but they have already hinted that it will happen this fiscal.
