With its enhanced level of sportiness and added comforts, the BMW 3 Series station wagon is an ideal vehicle choice for KW Automotive tuning. If the adaptive series suspension for the 3-series isn’t a choice then the electronic KW DDC ECU coilovers can be an alternative. On ecan ahve their KW dampers adjusted separately at both front and rear axle via an iPhone App. The three KW DDC modes offered are Comfort, Sport and Sport+ and drivers are able to select or alternate between driving models to bring out the best performance from the 3 Series for varying road conditions.
Suspension kit is made of stainless steel thus allowing lowering up to 65mm while the KW DDC ECU coilover kit is also of stainless steel and is also offered minus WiFi controls. Selection of the Comfort mode via smartphone app means that adaptive KW DDC ECU coilover kits have a more comfort oriented set up. Toggling between Sport and Sport+, means that dampers work with added agility. In the event of diminished voltage, the KW DDC ECU coil over kit switches over to mechanically safe mode.
This facility is offered free of cost on an iPhone, though for wireless connection between KW DDC ECU coilover control and the smartphone an optional KW W-LAN module is necessary. Continuous lowering of KW DDC ECU coilovers is possible due to German TUV tested adjustment range of 40mm to 60mm at front axle. Drive axle can be lowered from 30mm to 55mm via KW rear axle height adjustment and all KW DDC ECU coilovers come with TÜV certificate with an option of avail the BMW 3 Series wagon with our without the use of wireless module.
