Enjoy will display high level of comforts and infotainment features to compete in its segment while it will be powered by both petrol and diesel engines. Chevrolet Enjoy will be fitted with a 1.4 liter petrol engine and a 1.3 liter multijet diesel engine. The former will offer maximum output of 93 bhp power and 127 Nm torque while the latter will produce 88 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. Both will be mated to a five speed manual. Chevrolet Enjoy will compete with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in the entry level MPV segment. Ertiga has been registering monthly average sales of 7k units.

By April 2013, Chevrolet India would have launched three new cars in the Indian auto industry within a span of 6 months. All three models are aimed at competing with the best selling car in their respective segment, viz – Sail U-VA with Maruti Suzuki Swift, Sail sedan with Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, and Enjoy with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

With the launch of these new cars, GM India might be able to improve their sales figures this year. They expect it to improve by upto 50%. It is not that GM India will create a dent in sales of Maruti Suzuki. But the demand in India is such, that new entrants are given a chance to register sales as best-sellers do come with a waiting period.
