Etios is lucky number 1 million sold by Toyota Motor India


Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) celebrated its 1 millionth vehicle sale through its authorized dealer, Nippon Toyota in Cochin today. Lucky number one million was a Toyota Etios, which was was handed over to during a ceremony to celebrate the occasion.

Since its inception, Toyota has been present in the MPV/SUV segment in India and we have been market leaders ever since in these segments. It is only in 2011 that we forayed into the mass segment with the Etios & Liva and still have been able to realize this milestone in such a short duration.

As we achieve this significant landmark, I would like to thank our valuable customers, dealer partners, employees and suppliers for their support and commitment. We will continue to focus our efforts in bringing Toyota’s globally renowned QDR products to the Indian market”.
