Finali Mondiali Ferrari is an annual year-end racing festival where winners of various Ferrari Challenge series fight it out to become champion of champions. This year’s edition took place last weekend at the Mugello circuit and as usual, it was as a treat for both eyes and ears.
Here is a video of the extreme Ferrari FXX K cars going flat out on the circuit, spitting flames and heating up their front brake discs to red hot temperatures. Being the fastest of Ferrari’s mean XX track-only range, the FXX K is full of sharp aerodynamic elements.
The track-bred hypercar uses the same 6.3-litre V12 engine and an electric motor as the road legal LaFerrari but is tuned for the race track. The combined power and torque output stand at an insane 1,050 PS and 900 Nm of torque.

As the video clearly shows, the FXX K accelerates, decelerates and clings on to the tarmac around corners like it is a single seat racer. And that scintillating engine sound when the hypercar executes quick successive downshifts is out-worldly! We envy the audience who witnessed the event in person.
