HMSI came into existence on 14 Dec, 1999 and Manesar facility production began in 2001. At present HMSI has 3 manufacturing facilities at Manesar (Haryana) and Tapukara (Rajasthan) and Narsapura (Dist. Kolar, Karnataka) with cumulative production capacity of 46 lakh units annually by FY’14 end.
Honda till date trained more than 4 lakh individuals including children and women and operates Traffic Training parks in Delhi and Jaipur. Honda has also announced a partnership with POGO and associated with Chhota Bheem for road safety promotion among kids. HMSI’s association with South Delhi Municipal Corporation moves to educate young minds on road safety.
