Amer Beg from Hyderabad, India is all set to be the first Indian to take part in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series being held at Shanghai this weekend. Beg is excited about his participation and even more proud at being the first from India to take part in these prestigious racing events, besides is elated at being picked by Lamborghini.
Beg was in Toronto when he first got the experience of what motor racing was all about. Ever since then, Beg has concentrated on the sport winning trophies at Canada Day Cup and Mosport Labour Day Challenge. Established in 2009, Lamborghini Super Trofeo has seen outstanding growth with a total of 20 cars taking part in the events across some of the best tracks across Europe and drivers from a host of countries.
The Indian racer will be seen participating with drivers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia besides other countries and will be an apt platform to showcase the talent of this Indian racer as he participates in these events thus bringing to the fore promising motorsport potential in the country.

I have competed exclusively in single-seaters till now but I am looking forward to make a smooth transition into GT cars – even though there will be a lot to learn going into my first race weekend”.
