Mahindra Mojo 300 which made its last official appearance at 2014 Auto Expo was once again spotted on test.
Mahindra Mojo comes with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels, special braking system and enhanced suspension. Seen on the bike on test were inverted telescopic front forks and monoshocks at the rear while the bike is powered by a 300 cc, 4 stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor. Power output could stand at 28 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 25 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
Mahindra Mojo 300 measures 2,100mm in length, 830mm in width and stands 1,270mm tall. It has seat height of 820mm, a wheelbase of 1,450mm while ground clearance is at 150mm and fuel tank capacity of 15.5 liters.
Set to compete against the Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke 390 in India, Mahindra Mojo 300 could be launched at around INR 2 lakhs. Mahindra Two Wheelers could even price the upcoming Mojo 300 lower so as to project the bike as value for money compact sportsbike and the to ensure that the company’s first ever sportsbike is a success.
