Mahindra sales cross 11k on Dhanteras, TUV300 bookings at 12k

Mahindra sales Dhanteras 2015

Mahindra’s Dhanteras 2015 sales performance is 70% higher than last year’s.

Thanks to the high demand for the Mahindra TUV300, Scorpio, Bolero and XUV500, the Indian UV specialist registered single day sales of 11,500 units on Dhanteras (November 9). Dhanteras is considered to be an auspicious day to acquire vehicles and precious metals.

The impressive sales performance is 70% more than what the company managed to achieve on last year’s Dhanteras. Stable fuel prices and low interest rates are considered to be the strong growth drivers this festive season. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh drove the sales on this year’s Dhanteras.

Mahindra TUV300 sales first month

There is a huge demand for the TUV300 AMT.

The company’s October 2015 sales set a good momentum leading up to the Diwali. Mahindra posted a year-on-year growth of 19% after several dull months, registered a cumulative growth of 1% till last month. The Bolero reemerged as a UV segment leader in October by outselling the Hyundai Creta.

The newly launched TUV300 sub-4 m ladder frame SUV has been receiving a strong response. The new product has garnered over 12,000 bookings and roughly half of the orders are for the AMT variant. The TUV300’s production rate stands at 5,000 units per month but demand for the AMT variant far exceeds the supply currently.

It seems Mahindra uses this for advertising. not one single day passes without one or another story about their vehicles. I cannot see this continuously to be news. What about the other vehicle manufactures? Do they own this spot? This is suppose to be a new column. Sickening.
