Mercedes AMG GT engine (1)Max power output of the 4.0l bi-turbo V8 heart stands at 510 PS (503 hp at 6250 rpm) for the Mercedes AMG GT. Peak torque stands at 650 Nm between 1750 – 4750 rpm. Built for their new generation racing cars, the engine is lightweight and efficient. Compatible with Euro 6, probably the world’s strictest emission norms, Mercedes AMG GT is expected to make global debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

This engine features amongst the best power/liter and torque/liter ratio in the world today – 128 PS/litre and 163.2 Nm/litre. At 209 kgs, this is also the lightest engine in its segment.
