Mercedes-Benz India has left little to imagination to begin FY2015-16 on the back of a strong sales in the last fiscal, month, and quarter.

For March 2015, Mercedes-Benz India its best ever monthly sales at 53 pct growth over March 2014. New generation C-Class diesel launched in February 2015 contributed to highest segment sales for Mercedes-Benz India in March. E-Class sedan sales accounted for significant volumes in Q1 2015, and continues to triumph as the highest sold luxury sedan in India.

High volumes from sedans include S-Class sales in limited numbers as their is a waitlist for this opulence on wheels. New Generation Cars (NGC) continue to grow with support from the latest addition of CLA-Class. The latter too is waitlisted at present. GLA-Class continues to build momentum. Luxury SUVs (ML-Class and GL-Class) contributed to sales in full capacity being avialble in limited numbers for sale in India, and stand waitlisted.

Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India says growth in Q1 2015 is significant since some of the luxury auto manufacturer’s key models and frontrunners in respective segments were waitlisted depending in various markets. Mercedes-Benz India endeavours to meet increased demand and reduce waiting period for these models.
