MINI to visit Santa this Christmas: PUMA brings new accessories
MINI has announced that their cars will pay a visit to Santa Claus this Christmas, all the way to the North Pole. Entire fleet of MINI cars will start their journey to the Arctic Circle on the 24th of November 2012 from BMW HQs in Munich, heading to Rovaniemi, Finland, which is just outside the Arctic Circle. With this, MINI will also be competing for the Guiness Book of World Records for bringing the largest number of wishlists (letters from children and adults) to the Santa Claus. 16 countries are participating in this event; Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Russia, USA and Singapore.
Smart drive and smarter attire seems to be the basis of this new joint agreement between automotive manufacturer MINI and sports lifestyle brand PUMA. The two innovative and iconic brands now come together to offer state of the art clothing and accessories along with performance and style. These product lines have been in effect since September 2012 wherein MINI dealerships will be selling a range of products under the label MINI by PUMA while PUMA stores will offer the entire collection.
The collection has advantage of MINI’s creative use of space while PUMA offers their expertise in designing of clothes, shoes, bags, and other stylish accessories. For a start, MINI by PUMA range will include six bags, one wallet and three sneaker styles which will be sold through MINI Online Shop and dealerships.
Bags designs will be functional and sporty, elegant and suitable for both sexes. Contrasting colors, innovative designs and practicality will be the key features seen on these bags each of which will have shoulder straps inspired by MINI seatbelts. There will even be hidden compartments, slots for bank cards and will have functional and practical interiors. Wallet designs will have room for upto six cards. It will consist of three pockets while its yellow exterior zip will add a special touch of class. Sneakers are both in low cut and chukka and can come with either a chequered pattern or with Union Jack lining. These sneakers are sporty and trendy while at the same time functional and sturdy.
