The Managing Director of Bajaj Auto (since 2005), Rajiv Bajaj, spoke to the business news channel about the company’s expectations regarding the soon-to-launch union budget by the Finance Minister. During which he revealed that Bajaj’s proud Pulsar nameplate will expand with new variants in higher-end sports category starting March 2015.
The second quarter will witness more than one all-new variant of Bajaj Pulsar. Over the last few weeks, fans have witnessed spy shots of two new Bajaj Pulsar variants – Pulsar 200 SS and Pulsar 200 AS. Both these variants have been officially showcased in markets abroad, but are yet to be launched anywhere. It seems, Bajaj will finally start with their launch from India, with first Pulsar variant confirmed for launch in March 2015. In the video, Rajiv Bajaj also mentioned a possible launch of updated version of Bajaj Avenger cruiser, in the same period.
One can expect Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS (Super Sports) and 150 NS (Naked Sports) to be launched in the specified timeframe, while Pulsar 400 CS (Cruiser Sports), 400 SS and 200 AS could follow in the same order, spread out until probably early 2016.
