Nissan has brought the best global customer service practices to India, and continues to invest through its new Pune parts distribution centre to be closer to customers.
Located at Chakan in Pune, Maharashtra, the new facility is built over an area of 60,278 sq. feet area. The new setup brings employment to 70 new personnel. Customers of 35 Nissan dealerships in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Daman and Diu will benefit from reduced lead time of spare parts. Nissan India operates two other Parts Distribution Centres. One in Chennai, and another in Haryana.

Nissan has set industry benchmarks when it comes to parts availability with a fill rate. This refers to how many customer orders can be met by existing inventory at dealerships. Nissan reported a rate of 96 percent in FY2015.
