Royal Enfield Himalayan to be the upcoming adventure tourer?

The royal motorcycle company has found to have applied for trademark for the name ‘Royal Enfield Himalayan’ at the ‘Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market’ of European Union, recently.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 cc
The trademark is filed for versatile use of the name Royal Enfield Himalayan, meaning the firm can use the name for automobiles, trikes, vehicle components, or merchandise like helmets, goggles and jackets.
Given the understanding that the Himalayan range is the ultimate and perennial destination for adventure tourers in the country, and that Royal Enfield motorcycles seem to have made way more presence in the place than bikes of other brands, what better name could the upcoming adventure tourer receive or what better product the company could use the name for. It is obviously still a conjecture and is better to stay open to surprises.

About the Royal Enfield adventure tourer, reports claim that it could be powered by the company’s new 385 cc engine that should be way lighter in weight and better in terms of refinement, leaving the question of max power and peak torque aside. The new almost-400 cc engine would also replace the hardworking 350 cc mill featured for so long in Bullet 350, Classic 350 and Thunderbird 350, in their next generation models.
