Tata Motors owned Jaguar Land Rover introduced their all new sportscar, F-Type in India for a starting price of Rs 1.37 crores, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The new Jaguar F-Type will be offered in India with two options, supercharged V8 S and supercharged V6 S, the entry level supercharged V6 is not on offer in India as of now, but will be introduced at a later stage. Price of V8 S is at Rs 1.61 crores, ex-Mumbai.
Jaguar F-Type is a two door open top sports car, which was first seen at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in production guise. Attractive from every angle, the F-Type features adjustable suspension settings and adaptive dampers. In all, you can choose from a total of 25 different driving modes, to suit your mood, or driving condition.
For India, the F Type V6 S featuers 3.0 liter engine capable of producing 380 PS power and 460 Nm torque, while acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph will be accomplished in 4.9 seconds to reach a top speed of 275 kmph. The V8 S will have 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine producing 495 PS power and 625 Nm torque with a top speed of 300 kmph and 0-100 kmph time of 4.3 seconds.
