Zest a sub four meter compact sedan. It will be powered by Tata’s new 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine offering 84 bhp. A diesel option will also be on offer in the form of 1.3l Fiat MultiJet. Transmission options will be in the form of manual and AMT. Its interiors reveal a new dashboard with enhanced features and a touchscreen infotainment system developed along with Harman along with voice controlled operations, navigation updates and the facility to stream apps from a smartphone.
Tata Bolt features a new front fascia, a new grille, headlights, bumpers and new exterior colors while interiors sport the latest of facilities. Bolt hatchback will come with same engine options as on offer with Zest, but will only come with manual transmission. Electronics on board the Bolt will include a Harman infotainment system, a new 5” touch display, Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition besides test to speech system, phone enabled navigation and a whole lot more.
Speaking about the Nexon, which is still a concept, the compact SUV too will receive the same set of petrol and diesel engines. Transmission options will be manual and AMT. Interior features too will be same. All three above have been designed at Tata Motors Design Studios located in Europe and India, under the eye of Mr Pratap Bose.
