To go on display at Tata Motors pavilion at 2014 Auto Expo, Falcon 4 and Falcon 5 will be based on Vista and Manza. Expected to be identical in overall dimensions, the company has made some changes in makeup of both models. Falcon 4 appears with a tagline – Never Miss a Thing while Falcon 5 is being promoted as – Raise the Bar. The Facebook page also sports a video hinting at some innovative connectivity features on board the Falcon 5.
Falcon 4 based on the Tata Vista drops its outdated lights and in its stead are small and compact tail lamps. The model will also sport new body panels, grille and headlights. Falcon 5, the compact sedan based on Manza will be seen with redesigned interiors.
Both these models will not be called Falcon once launched as this is just an internal codename. They are both likely to be the first cars to get recently developed Tata Revotron 1.2 liter turbo petrol engines producing 85 PS peak power at 5,000 rpm and 140 Nm peak torque at 1,750-3,500 rpm.
