Toyota Kirloskar Motors got off to a not so promising start during the first four months of this year. January to April 2014 saw sales decline while the month of May brought with it just a marginal increase in sales. However with the launch of new Corolla Altis, a turn of events is on the cards.
Launched in late May, new Toyota Corolla has been in demand ever since. The company is trying very hard to clear pending deliveries. Compared to May, when the company delivered 548 units of new Corolla, June saw 900 units delivered. But the waiting period still stays at about 2 months.
2014 also saw Toyota India launch Etios Cross and Etios sedan Xclusive edition. The new Etios receives a new chrome grille, chrome garnish on tail lamps, headlamps and ORVMs besides Bluetooth audio system in its interiors. Etios sedan is offered in Classic Grey and Symphony Silver and Xclusive customers can take advantage of 100% road funding for seven years being offered by Toyota Financial Services. Toyota Etios Exclusive is priced at INT 5.98 lakhs for the petrol variant and INR 7.10 lakhs for the diesel variant.
