Having previewed the 2016 Toyota Sienta earlier, UMW Toyota Motor today showed its seven-seat MPV at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Toyota Sienta MPV gets power from a new 2NR-FE 1.5 litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine that returns 107 PS at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm at 4,200 rpm, mated to a CVT. The top end 1.5V Toyota Sienta MPV variant exterior fitments includde bi-LED headlights, LED tail lights with light guides, keyless entry, push-button star, twin electric sliding doors and 16-inch two-tone alloy rims.
Toyota Sienta MPV standard safety features include three airbags (one for the driver’s knees), ABS, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
Toyota Sienta MPV interiors include a dual-tier dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Optitron instrument cluster, 4.2 inch colour TFT LCD multi-info display and automatic air-conditioning with rear blower. Storage spaces comprise a seat tray to keep stuff and a cooled upper glove box.
Entry and exit from the seven seater Toyota Sienta MPV is convenient owing to its low floor height and assist grips on the B and C-pillars. Seat adjustments are made easy with a one-touch tumble feature for second row seats and a dive-in feature for third row seats. The third row adjusts under the middle row to make available a flat load bay.
