Already spied in detail while on test in India, the TVS Apache 200 is now being tested in Indonesia, which is one of the most important export market for the Indian company. Based on the X21 Draken concept showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the new TVS Apache 200 will most likely debut in production ready form at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in February 2016.
To be powered by a 200 cc single cylinder with liquid cooled engine. The report from Indonesia suggests that the Apache 200 will get a torquey engine in SOHC 4 valve setup. Expected to be tagged as ‘King of Torque’, new Apache 200 will also have the best in class performance figures.
Built with help from BMW Motorrad, with whom TVS Motors have tied up to manufacture single cylinder motorcycles, the new Apache 200 could generate between 25-30 PS power. Currently in its final phase of testing, the new TVS Apache 200 will be the most expensive TVS motorcycle on offer once launched, not to forget, the most powerful, and the fastest as well.
