Now it looks like Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing may have teamed up with Candra Custom Knalpot (Candra Custom Exhaust – a motorcycle performance tuning specialist in Indonesia) to mod the Yamaha R25 to the taste of die hard MotoGP fans. It is still unclear if Yamaha Indonesia has anything to do with this special MotoGP prepped R25, but considering the fact that deliveries of R25 has not commenced yet, there is not much of logical assumptions to go with.
Custom modded Yamaha R25 in these spy shots bear blue and white MotoGP livery, similar to the R25 concept version that was presented earlier this year. In addition, concept derived Akrapovic exhaust is clearly seen fitted in this bike, convincing anyone that it is track ready. Not to mention official sponsor decals of Yamaha’s MotoGP team stuck on the R25 bike in these photos.
Question remains, how did a custom Yamaha R25 bike get into what looks to be a Yamaha dealership in Indonesia, and how will the fans get their hands on such R25 MotoGP edition? Is this an official edition from Yamaha or did the dealer himself got it modded by Candra Custom Knalpot?
Production version of Yamaha R25 hides an inline 2 cylinder 249cc engine with DOHC that churns out maximum power of 36.0PS (26.5kW) @ 12,000rpm and peak torque of 22.6 Nm @ 10,000rpm. Does the R25 in question feature a higher state of tune?
