2013 Hyundai Santa Fe 6/7 seater SUV priced from $28,350
Hyundai showcased the three row 6/7 seater Santa Fe SUV at the 2012 La Auto Show in November last year. This is now launched in the US with a price of $28,350.
Notable highlights are that the Santa Fe sport seats 5 individuals comfortably while the longer wheel base model has seating space for 6 or 7 people and three rows. Santa Fe 6/7 seater model has a starting price of $28,350 (INR 15.10 lakhs) for the FWD GLS model and increases to $33,100 for the AWD. Its new model boasts of a 290 hp V6 engine while the Sport variant has two engine options: 2.4L inline four, 190 hp engine and 2.0L Turbo 264 hp engine. Compared to the Santa Fe Sport engine variants, the new LWB model has a 3.3L V6 engine under the hood. The engine is capable of producing 290 hp of power that is distributed via a six speed automatic transmission to FWD or an AWD option.
Santa Fe LWB boasts of a fluidic design, cross over architecture, panoramic sunroof, two varied seating options, Standard Blue Link, innovative infotainment systems and a competitive fuel rating. Hyundai is expected to launch the Seven seater Santa Fe in India this year.
