Mercedes Benz to introduce Active Comfort Program for vehicles soon

Based on research ideas for Daimler ‘TopFitTruck’, Mercedes-Benz will soon introduce Active Comfort Program for its Cars and Trucks. This program is designed to enhance comfort and well being of driver’s of Mercedes vehicles. For its project ‘TopFitTruck’, Daimler has created a research vehicle that offers solutions to problems faced by drivers.

By implementing the Active Comfort Program in its line of cars and trucks Mercedes will raise the bar of enhanced driver comfort. Some ideas from the TopFitTruck project will be used to come up with features that contribute in a big way towards driver comfort.

Other features included in the project include spacious interiors, Intelligent Light System, climate control, rain sensor, easily accessible switch controls, Night View assist, engine soundproofing, better suspension construction and Linguatronic voice control. Functions that are included in the Active Comfort Program aim at reliving the driver of routine tasks that can be tiring and thereby reduce the lapses of concentration among drivers on the road.
